Y’all know by now that while waiting for the official welcome event later, the girls are busy settling down and went straight to fittings and shoots. For those who are not familiar, these shoots are done so that their profiles in Miss Universe website will be updated. Pictures will include evening gown, swimsuit and close-up. This is also the time that their info video will be shot. What is new this year is another set of shoot. Based on some pictures and videos that i’ve seen there is a Holiday-themed shoot and a lingerie-ish shoot. I hope to see them really soon!
I already made two posts – (Batch 1) and (Batch 2) – showing pictures from the registration, fittings and shoots. What’s different in this batch is the fact that some of the ladies here are “surprises” which means that they were invisible pre-arrival but showed great potential the moment they landed in Vegas. So sharing to you the pics 🙂

Brazil (Gabriela Markus)
The red lippie and big curls works on Gabriela really well. Her lippie brought the life in these pics!
Poland (Marcelina Zawadzka)
Marcelina is such a sweet surprise for me! Her body is to-die-for and that face is just gorge! I just need her to go easy on her eyeliners and i’ll probably be good!
Germany (Alicia Endemann)
Alicia’s face is divine BUT her beauty didn’t translate to the 3rd picture. I am thinking it’s the wrong hair color for her or it’s probably the angle. Stare at her 2nd picture and you’ll understand what I mean!
Belgium (Laura Beyne), Netherlands (Nathalie Den Dekker) and Germany
It could have been Nathalie but her swimsuit is such a bummer. I’ll probably give the points to Belgium!
Canada (Adwoa Yamoah)
I still can’t get over the replacement issue with Miss Canada!!! Grrr…
Guatemala (Laura Beatriz Godoy Calle)
She is another surprise in this competition! Awesome physique here… This picture is not selling probably because of the angle of her face but I know that she has a HUGE potential
Honduras (Jennifer Andrade)

Guatemala owned this picture… Have faith dearest friends… Have faith! I’m excited to see more of Laura!
Curacao (Monifa Jansen), Guatemala & Aruba
Monifa is exploding everyone and owned these pictures! I have high hopes for her and so far, she’s right on track! She just needs to remember that her features are strong so be careful… BTW, what’s with these costumes?!? They are so tacky and trashy! Gosh… And a note to Miss Guatemala, you look a million miles better in that nude lippie you used in the picture above!
Montenegro (Andrea Radonjic), Serbia (Branislava Mandic) & Curacao
Another easy win for Curacao in these pictures… Serbia is in a not so close second BUT the curls are giving her the much needed boost on her aura!
France (Marie Payet)
I’ve said enough… I adore this lady!

Domz, Curacao has a banging body but the face is…I wish they won’t highlight too high, it makes her face longer. Key to appreciate her face is highlighting. And they should stop outlining her eyes graphically, it’s making her eyes smaller therefore making her face look bigger therefore making a drag queen out of her. She should have her chin up always, that’s how she can achieve her best angle.
