2 days before the General Screening of Miss World Philippines 2016, Team Aces & Queens bared its flag bearers for the pageant. A&Q is one of the top beauty pageant camps in the Philippines. It is the home of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss World 2013 Megan Young. It is also the most successful camp in the Miss World Philippines pageant under the leadership of Cory Quirino, winning 5 of the past 5 Miss World Philippines pageant.

I can only name 3 of the 5 ladies here – Catriona Gray (1st from left), Arienne Calingo (2nd from left) and Sandra Lemonon (2nd from right). Please feel free to leave a comment if you know the names of the lady in the middle and the rightmost lady.
Catriona is one of the early favorites in the pageant. Every Filipino beauty pageant fan has been anticipating her joining any of the national pageants so this is basically an “answered prayer” for some fans. Though Miss World Philippines (under Ms. Quirino) has been crowning the “favorite” lady every year, I would love to see an “underdog” go for the crown and give Catriona a run for her money.
