The opening salvo for this year’s beauty pageant season is Miss Grand International 2017. This is the pageant’s fifth outing and I couldn’t be more excited with the improvement that this Thailand-based pageant is showing year after year. Reigning Miss Grand International is Indonesia’s Ariska Putri Pertiwi. She will crown one of the 80+ ladies expected to participate in this year’s pageant. The coronation night will be held in the beautiful country of Vietnam on October 25 and here is the official trailer for you to get excited from.

The show will surely be competitive but the candidates are in for a great adventure based on the itinerary that the pageant is preparing. The ladies will be staying in Vietnam for 20 days and they are expected to visit several locations. They will be welcomed in Ho Chi Minh city for the Welcome Ceremony and Press Conference. The ladies will then travel to Quang Binh where the National Costume competition will be staged. Finally, the ladies will be brought to Phu Quoc for the Swimsuit and Preliminary competitions and the Grand Finale.
I can’t wait for the ladies to arrive starting October 5 and to see all of them in action!
